ABOUT HEDY TAN:
Hedy Tan, CSAT, CADC, RRS Coach is an IITAP and IAODAPCA certified addictions counselor / Real Relational Solutions Coach in Chicago and Oak Park, Illinois, with extensive experience in areas of individual, group and couple counseling, as well as facilitating Healing Trauma Empowerment Intensives.
Hedy has 20+ years experience with Individuals, Couples, Groups, Love Addiction / Love Avoidance, Sex / Chemical / Process Addiction, Codependency, Relational Guidance, Childhood and Adult Trauma. Hedy has been facilitating Healing Trauma Empowerment Intensives (visualization) since 2000.
Hedy completed her Certified Sex Addiction training with Patrick Carnes in 2002; Post Induction Training with Pia Mellody in 2000; is a level 3 Relational Life Therapist with Terry Real since 2007, as well as a facilitator for the “We Came to Believe” couples retreat in 2003, and has consulted for several television / print media.
She utilizes Pia Mellody’s PIT and Codependency model in all areas of her work. Hedy and her partner, John, started the first Chicago Recovering Couples Anonymous Fellowship (RCA) in 2003 in support of Patrick Carnes’ work.
